Evans recently earned the title of 49th best overall place for emergency first responders to live in a report from a consumer research website.

The Weld County municipality earned the honor in the third annual "Best Cities for First Responders" report by Goodcall.com. The report, which reviewed data from 835 cities across the U.S., recognized Evans for its favorable first responder salaries, job availability, plentiful amenities, educational attainment and low unemployment and crime rates.
